About the presenter: 

Steve Gray is director of strategy and innovation for Morris Communications, working with the Morris Publishing Group’s 11 daily newspapers on new strategies and business models. Before joining Morris, he was managing publisher of The Christian Science Monitor and then headed the Newspaper Next innovation project for the American Press Institute from 2005 to 2009. His career began at his family’s newspaper, the Monroe (Mich.) Evening News, where he rose from reporter to publisher. He still serves as chairman of the board, and the company is now 100% employee-owned.
